Problem Note 52101: The SAS® Integration Technologies configuration (itconfig2.exe) fails to start in a French operating environment
In a non-English operating environment, the SAS Integration Technologies configuration fails to start, generating the following error message:
ITConfig has stopped working
This error occurs because the ITConfig2.exe file, which is part of the SAS Integration Technologies client, cannot run in a non-English operating environment.
As a work around for this issue:
- Download the ITConfig2.exe.config file that is available on the Downloads tab in this note.
- After you download the file, place it in the same directory as the ITConfig2.exe file.
On a 64–bit machine, the typical location for the ITConfig2.exe file is as follows:
SASHOME\x86\Integration Technologies
If you cannot locate SAS Integration Technologies client, you can look up the location in the Microsoft Windows registry under the Path volume in the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SAS Institute Inc.\Common Data\SharedFiles\Integration Technologies
- Re-launch the application.
Once you perform these steps, you should now no longer see the error, and you can launch the SAS Integration Technologies client successfully.
