SAS^® Real-Time Decision Manager enables you to create custom detail tags and use them in your decision campaigns. However, if you change the variable type of a custom detail tag that you use in a campaign, then SAS Customer Intelligence Studio might return the following error when you run the campaign:

Cannot assign expression "Some-Tag-Name" to
variable "Some-Variable-Name" at node "XXXXXXXXXXX" of
flow "Some-Flow-Name-YYYYYYYY" : Compile error, line 1, column
39, token "Some-Tag-Name": identifier is not
defined.
