Problem Note 51940: An error occurs when you start bess_proxy when it is deployed on Oracle WebLogic
In SAS Digital Marketing, starting bess_proxy fails when deployed on WebLogic. The following error is returned:
ClassNotFound org.apache.log4j.Logger
The issue is caused by the absence of the log4j JAR file in the ivy.xml file of bess.war.
