Problem Note 51894: PROC MIXED issues ERROR: Integer overflow on computing amount of memory required

When the DDFM=KENWARDROGER option is specified in the MODEL statement in PROC MIXED and the number of observations per subject is large, the procedure might abend with the following error messages:
ERROR: Integer overflow on computing amount of memory required.
A request to allocate the memory cannot be honored.
ERROR: The SAS System stopped processing this step because of insufficient memory.
The messages are a result of unnecessary internal computations. This problem only occurs in SAS® 9.4 (TS1M0) and SAS 9.4 (TS1M1).
