Problem Note 51752: Exporting from SAS® Enterprise Guide® 6.1 to a Microsoft Excel file on a SAS® server might not work as expected

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you Export or Export As a Step in Project from SAS Enterprise Guide 6.1 and 6.1_M1 to a Microsoft Excel file on a SAS server, the file might not be created as expected. This problem occurs even though the log states that the export was successful.

Saving the exported Excel file to your local computer is successful.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue at 6.1_M1.

As a workaround for 6.1, you can export to a CSV file on the SAS server. You also can switch to using SAS Enterprise Guide 5.1, or you can install 6.1_M1 and apply the latest hot fix.
