Problem Note 51702: Optimization might fail and generate the error "There are no packs specified and none can be found for the products in the request. Cannot proceed."
Optimization might fail because of the following error in SAS® Pack Optimization when a default pack setting of BULK is assigned to a delivery type other than No delivery type:
ERROR: There are no packs specified and none can be found for the products in the request. Cannot proceed.
ERROR: The request ended with an error condition.
Use the following steps as a workaround for this issue:
- Define bulk packs for No Delivery Type at a node in the product hierarchy at the Default Pack Settings view.
- Set the buy to use the default pack settings.
- Set the delivery to use the pack settings from the buy.
