Problem Note 51581: Memory leaks might occur when you use the SAS® PC Files Server service

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

Memory leaks occur when you are using the EXCELCS, ACCESSCS, and PCFILES engines to read Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other files using the SAS PC Files Server. The problem occurs because the LSASS process that the PC Files Server uses reduces the available memory by 20 kilobytes every time the drivers are used.

To work around this issue, stop and restart the SAS PC Files Server as needed to free the memory on the machine.
