Problem Note 51502: The web view of SAS® Digital Marketing broadcasted e-mails might fail to display personalized variables
SAS Digital Marketing can broadcast a web view of e-mails. The personalized variables in the web view e-mail might fail to display and a default value might be shown.
This problem occurs if you review the broadcast properties in SAS Digital Marketing Studio. For example, you select the executed broadcast in the list of broadcasts, right-click, and select Properties for that broadcast. After you view the properties, even if you do not make any changes, clicking OK to exit causes the issue. Clicking OK incorrectly updates the XSL file that is located in the ...\content directory to revert to template values. This update changes personalized variables to use the redir servlet incorrectly, instead of the original and correct get servlet. Consequently, the variable values fail to display.
To work around this issue, click Cancel to exit the Properties window.
