Problem Note 51153: When you view a KRI in SAS® Enterprise GRC, an error message might incorrectly be displayed saying "You do not have the appropriate capabilities"

In SAS Enterprise GRC, if you click the Operational Area tab on a key risk indicator (KRI), the following error message might incorrectly be displayed when you click another tab:

You do not have the appropriate capabilities to save the object at the selected location

The error is incorrect because you are not trying to edit and save the object. You are trying to view the object.

The error is displayed if you have the following metadata capabilities:

  • KRI Definition: View
  • Indicator: View
  • KRI Observation Request: View
  • KRI Observation: Create, View, Update
