Problem Note 51101: Submitting a DM statement from an Enhanced Editor window changes focus to a previous Enhanced Editor window
If multiple Enhanced Editor windows are open, and a DM statement is submitted from one of them, focus is returned to the previous active Enhanced Editor window instead of the current one.
For example, suppose that there are three Enhanced Editor windows open: Untitled1, Untitled2, and Untitled3. The user navigates from Untitled1 to Untitled2 to Untitled3. Then, in the Untitled3 window, the user submits this statement:
DM 'clear log';
After the statement is submitted, focus is returned to the Untitled2 window. That is, the Untitled2 window is brought to the front and the cursor is in that window.
You can circumvent this behavior by using the CONTINUE option with the DM statement.
Here is an example:
DM 'clear log' continue;
