Problem Note 51049: SAS® Enterprise Guide® stops responding when you are executing a stored process

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS Enterprise Guide 5.1, if you execute stored processes that use dynamic prompts with the Multiple values or the Multiple ordered values properties set, SAS Enterprise Guide stops responding for several minutes.

If the property for the Number of values prompt is changed to Single value, the delay does not occur. The prompt preview test produces the prompt within seconds.

This issue does not occur when you test in SAS Enterprise Guide 4.3 or SAS® Management Console or when you execute the stored process from a web application.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
