Problem Note 51760: No information about other pre-assigned libraries is logged in the SAS Workspace Server log after a pre-assigned library fails
The SAS Workspace Server log displays the assignments of pre–assigned libraries. When a pre–assigned library is assigned successfully, the server log reflects that status.
However, if a pre–assigned library cannot be assigned successfully, a message is written to the log stating that the library does not exist. In addition, no further information about library assignments, successful or not, is written to the log.
The two workspace-server log messages below illustrate, respectively, a successful assignment and a failed assignment.
Log messages that appear when all assignments are successful:
2013-11-11T11:58:02,972 INFO [00000020] :xxxx@XXXXNT- NOTE: Libref test2 successfully assigned from logical server.
2013-11-11T11:58:02,972 INFO [00000020] :xxxx@XXXXNT - NOTE: Libref test successfully assigned from logical server.
2013-11-11T11:58:02,972 INFO [00000020] :xxxx@XXXXNT- NOTE: Libref stpsamp successfully assigned from logical server.
2013-11-11T11:58:02,972 INFO [00000020] :xxxx@XXXXNT- NOTE: Libref wrstemp successfully assigned from logical server.
2013-11-11T11:58:02,972 INFO [00000020] :xxxx@XXXXNT- NOTE: Libref wrsdist successfully assigned from logical server.
2013-11-11T11:58:02,972 INFO [00000020] :xxxx@XXXXNT - NOTE: Libref SASDATA successfully assigned from logical server.
Log messages that appear when the assignment fails.
2013-11-11T12:00:13,448 INFO [00000020] :xxxx@XXXXNT - NOTE: Library TEST2 does not exist.
2013-11-11T12:00:13,448 INFO [00000020] :xxxx@XXXXNT - NOTE: Library TEST2 does not exist.
In this example, the failure happens because the directory that is associated to the libref TEST2 is deleted. After these messages are generated, nothing else related to library assignments is written to the log.
There is no workaround or solution for this problem.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
Once a failed assignment of a pre-assigned library is written to the workspace server log, no further information is logged about pre-assigned libraries regardless of the success or failure of the assignments.
