Evaluation of a promotion in SAS® Promotion Optimization might fail when the promotion contains a scope that has no model group coverage. When this failure occurs, the MerchIntelGridSvr has to be restarted before taking additional requests.
There is no workaround for this issue.

After the hot fix is installed, the evaluation fails with an error that does not require the MerchIntelGridSvr to be restarted.
