Problem Note 51689: Error messages might be generated when using the %SYSFUNC macro function with the FCMP procedure
Error messages like the following might be generated when using the %SYSFUNC macro function with the FCMP procedure:
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.
Please contact technical support and provide them with the following traceback

These errors are most likely to be generated when all of the following occur:
- The OPEN function is used inside PROC FCMP code when creating a user-defined function.
- The %SYSFUNC macro function calls the user-defined function that was created.
- A DATA step calls the macro that contains the %SYSFUNC macro function.
The second and subsequent executions of the DATA step return the errors.
There is currently no circumvention for this problem.
