Usage Note 51646: In SAS® Mobile BI, you might not be able to open a subscribed report when you are offline
In SAS Mobile BI, you might not be able to open a subscribed report when you are offline. Instead, you simply see an icon with the image of a cloud. This problem is most likely to occur if you have the Visual Analytics Transport Service:Purge Mobile Report Data capability through your membership in one of the SAS® Visual Analytics roles. When you have this capability, cached data is purged from your mobile device.
A system administrator can verify whether you have this capability by following these steps in SAS® Management Console.
- On the Plug-ins tab, navigate to Environment Manager ► User Manager.
- Right-click the applicable user, select Properties, and then click the Groups and Roles tab.
- On the Groups and Roles tab, make note of which roles the user is a member of, and then click Cancel. (Roles are identified by an icon with a key.)
- With the User Manager plug-in still selected, open the properties for each of the applicable roles.
- On the Capabilities tab, expand the Visual Analytics Transport Service category to see whether the Purge Mobile Report Data capability is selected.
In the following display, the capability is not selected.
