Installation Note 51459: When you add SAS® Enterprise GRC to an existing installation, the configuration might fail during the load content step
After you install SAS Enterprise GRC as an additional product to an existing installation, the configuration might fail during the step to load content to the web application server. The configuration log file contains the following error message:
[echo] java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol:
${iomsrv.httpserver.protocol.type}:
//${iomsrv.httpserver.host}:${iomsrv.httpserver.port}
${iomsrv.httpserver.basepath.dir}
[echo] at java.net.URL.<init>(Unknown Source)
[echo] at java.net.URL.<init>(Unknown Source)
[echo] at java.net.URL.<init>(Unknown Source)
[echo] at
com.sas.services.webdav.WebDAVRestore.main(WebDAVRestore.java:1179)
[echo] Return Code: 8
To work around this problem, make sure that SASServer1 is running on the middle tier before you start the configuration. You might read in other documentation that your web application server should not be running when you configure additional products. However, when you add SAS Enterprise GRC to an existing installation, SASServer1 must be running when you do the configuration.
