Problem Note 51365: Export to CSV starts Excel but does not open the spreadsheet
When you use the Export to CSV functionality in SAS® Warranty Analysis, the export fails if there is an existing instance of Excel already open. There is no option to open or save the file. Instead, Excel tries to open the file but fails.
The export succeeds when there are no files already loaded in Excel.
This problem pertains to SAS Warranty Analysis under Excel 2007 and Windows XP.
The Export to CSV functionality under Windows 7 and Office 2010 is not affected.
There is no circumvention for this problem.
