Installation Note 51227: When you select a SAS® Data Management or SAS® Master Data Management plan from the SAS® Deployment Wizard, the SAS® 9.4 deployment is unsuccessful
If you are performing a planned SAS 9.4 (TS1M0) installation using one of the following standard plans that are provided with the SAS Deployment Wizard, your installation and configuration will not succeed.
- Data Management Standard
- Data Management Advanced
- Master Data Management Standard
- Master Data Management Advanced
To work around this issue, obtain the equivalent standard plan from the 9.4 Standard Deployment Plans website. Then use that plan when you are prompted for a plan by the SAS Deployment Wizard.
This issue occurs with SAS ship event 13w40 and is corrected beginning with ship event 13w45.
You can determine your ship event by referring to your SAS Software Order E-mail (SOE) or SAS Software Order Information (SOI) document. For downloaded orders, the SOI is found in the install_doc/<XXXXXX> (where XXXXXX is your particular Order Number) location of your SAS Software Depot.
