Usage Note 51209: Distributed SAS® Web Report Studio reports might not be received even though there are no errors
In some cases, distributed SAS Web Report Studio reports are not received even though you receive the notification e-mail and the View Scheduled and Distributed Reports dialog box says Executed. The most likely reason for this problem is that the e-mail has been blocked by your mail server. For example, this problem can occur if your distributed report exceeds the maximum message size for your mail server.
Here is an example of a message that might appear in your mail server log.
01-Apr-2014 09:24:55.67 tcp_local REQ 345224 name@address mail-relay.your.domain
dns;mail-relay.your.domain(TCP|xxx.x.xxx.xx|####|xxx.x.xxx.xx|25) smtp;123 4.1.2
Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size (25000000)
The only workarounds are to increase the maximum message size or decrease the size of the report.
In addition, when this problem exists, a blank PDF file is sometimes received after many hours.
Contact the administrator for your mail server for assistance in checking that log.
