Usage Note 51154: Excel abends when you use IntelliSense in the VBA IDE of Excel

You might receive errors or MS Excel might abend when you use the IntelliSense IDE object
browser in the VB IDE while running the 64-bit edition of Excel with SAS® Financial Management 5.3
Management. If this problem occurs, try the following tasks:
- Close Excel.
- Change directory to the following:
C:\Program Files\SASHome\x86\SASFinancialManagementAddinforMicrosoftExcel\5.3
- Run the following command:
C:\windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\regasm /tlb SASSESExcelAddIn.dll
Sometimes Excel caches a copy of the TLB file. If so, the problem will still occur after you perform the steps above. In this case, perform the following additional steps:
- Open the form.
- From Excel, press Alt+F11 to display the Development IDE.
- From the menu select Tools ► References. Deselect SASSESExcelAddin and click OK.
- Select Tools ► References.
- Click Browse and navigate to the following location:
C:\Program Files\SASHome\x86\SASFinancialManagementAddinforMicrosoftExcel\5.3.
- Select SASSESExcelAddin.tlb and click OK.
- Click Save form.
Performing the steps above should remove cached information from any TLB file.

MS Excel sometimes abends when you use the autofill feature in an MS Integrated Development Environment for VBA, otherwise known as IntelliSense.
