Usage Note 51068: The error "SQL*Loader-501: Unable to read file (-.dat)" occurs when you use the BL_USE_PIPE=YES option with the bulk-load facility
When you are using the bulk-load facility, if you use BL_USE_PIPE=YES option with data that contains a carriage return, the following error might occur:
SQL*Loader-501: Unable to read file (-.dat)
SQL*Loader-566: partial record found at end of datafile
SQL*Loader-2026: the load was aborted because SQL Loader cannot continue.
Oracle interprets "^z" as an end-of-file character. This error is due to Oracle bug# 14227589.
To work around the issue, do not use the BL_USE_PIPE=YES option.
