Problem Note 51021: 64-bit hot fixes installed into 32-bit (x86) SASHOME location
When applying both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the same hot fix to the same
SASHOME at the same time, the contents of the 64-bit hot fix will apply to the 32-bit installation location.
For example, if you attempt to apply 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the SAS Integration Technologies Client to the same
SASHOME at the same time, you will see that the files delivered in the 64-bit version of the hot fix are backed up and replaced in
x86 directory in

In addition to SAS Integration Technologies Client, this problem can also occur with SAS Enhanced Editor, SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office hot fixes.
To work around this problem, the 32-bit and 64-bit hot fixes must be installed individually, with two separate invocations of the SAS Deployment Manager.
