Problem Note 50717: Broadcasts migrated from a previous release to SAS® Digital Marketing 6.1 fail to be executed and result in errors

Broadcasts that are migrated from a previous release to SAS Digital Marketing 6.1 fail to execute and result in errors. In the Edit Broadcast screen of the SAS Digital Marketing client, in you might see the following errors:

Element type "xsl:value-of" must be followed by either attribute specifications "<" or "/>". The following error has occurred: Your XSL content failed to compute.

From the SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio Edit Content page, clicking OK generates the following error:

An error occurred while generating the broadcast preview {0}.

The broadcast seems to complete, but e-mails are not received. The SAS Digital Marketing server log might show the following error:

The issue is caused by mishandling of the following XSL variables that are used in the web view and unsubscribe options in SAS Digital Marketing 6.1:
