Problem Note 50712: Support for the Teradata TPT method in the SAS® Marketing Automation MAUpload macro variable

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

Support for the Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT) load method is being introduced. The support improves performance when you are uploading MATables.

However, Teradata uploads for TPT requires some additional tables for error and log handling. Currently the MAUpload macro variable limits the table names to 30 characters.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

After you apply the hot fix, the MAUpload macro variable generates the correct names for those tables.

The hot fix contains the new MAUpload macro variable, where 3 characters are trimmed from the date represented as part of the temporary upload name. Before, you would have received 120912 for the date portion (year, month, day). Now, you will get the 3-digit day number 256.
