Problem Note 50647: Erroneous results might be displayed in a PROC PRINT summary row

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

An incorrect sum might be displayed in a PROC PRINT summary row when multiple character variables used in BY and ID statements have short lengths. The problem occurs when user-defined formats with large widths are applied to those variables.

In some cases, the problem can be circumvented by reassigning a length of 8 to the character variables.
