Problem Note 50580: Importing a DimensionMember table to update a model might result in a null pointer error if the data does not include DisplayOrder values
Generally, if a DimensionMember table is imported without user-specified DisplayOrder values, SAS® Activity-Based Management will assign default values. However, if a DimensionMember table includes data for new members whose parent members do not already exist in the model but are also defined in the import data, failing to include a DisplayOrder columm will cause the import to fail with a Null pointer error.
It is necessary to include values for the DisplayOrder property in every DimensionMember table that is imported as an update to an existing model if the table defines both parent and child members. This requirement is planned to be removed in a future release of the software.
