Problem Note 50485: Any attempt to read Oracle tables with certain column data types might return incorrect values

Reading any of the following Oracle column data types into a SAS® 9.4 variable might result in the SAS value being incorrect:

  • TIMESTAMP
  • TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE
  • TIMESTAMP WITH LOCAL TIME ZONE
  • INTERVAL YEAR TO MONTH
  • INTERVAL DAY TO SECONDS

This problem occurs if you downloaded SAS/ACCESS® 9.4 Interface to Oracle on or before July 24, 2013.
