When you create a new project with SAS^® Enterprise Miner™ Workstation Configuration client, the following error is displayed:

Error
The application could not log on to the server.
The server process did not start.

If you run with debug options, then the EM.LOG file contains the following information:

The problem occurs if you use Java Runtime Environment 1.6 update 45 (1.6.0_45) and higher because of a change in the Oracle runtime.exe file.
