Problem Note 50378: The parent node is automatically chosen when you select a single child-node for location scope
In SAS® Promotion Optimization, when a single child-node is selected in the location selection dialog box, the parent node is incorrectly selected instead. When selecting a single child-node in the scope, the child node, not the parent node, should be selected.
The ETL process uses the child node when creating promotion objects. A situation might occur where promotion cannot be placed on the vehicle even though the locations are the same.
Note: when selecting all of the multiple child-nodes, the parent is selected automatically.
