Problem Note 50195: In the z/OS operating environment, the SAS® Metadata Server abends with S0C4 during shutdown

Some customers have reported that the SAS Metadata Server under z/OS terminates with a system 0C4 during normal shutdown. This error occurs when the SAS Metadata Server is stopped when an OMA backup is in progress but has not completed. Note that metadata is not adversely affected because the abend occurs after the SAS Metadata Server has stopped.
