ERROR 22-322: Syntax error, expecting one of the following: a name,
                a quoted string, a numeric constant, a datetime constant,
                a missing value, (, *, +, -, ALL, ANY, BTRIM, CALCULATED,
                CASE, INPUT, PUT, SELECT, SOME, SUBSTRING, TRANSLATE, USER.
ERROR 200-322: The symbol is not recognized and will be ignored.
ERROR: Error during in-database processing.
NOTE: The SAS System stopped processing this step because of errors.

Some procedures stop processing completely. For others, the procedure issues the error but continues to generate results. Here are some examples:

• PROC FREQ generates results.
• PROC MEANS stops processing due to error.
• PROC RANK generates results, although an additional error might appear in the log because SAS does pass the truncated operator and this results in a database error.
• PROC REPORT stops processing due to error.
• PROC SORT generates results with sorting done in the database and the subsetting processed by SAS.
• PROC SUMMARY stops processing due to error.
• PROC TABULATE stops processing due to error.

There is currently no workaround for this issue.
