Problem Note 50070: Email messages sent by a SAS® program fail with "ERROR: Invalid number"

If your SAS® program cannot successfully send any email messages or you successfully send one or more email messages but a subsequent email fails with the following error, it might be because your system is busy:

ERROR: Invalid number.

When the system is busy, the email message is split into multiple parts, causing SAS to fail. This issue might occur on a sporadic basis.
