Problem Note 50797: When the attributes for DBMS tables are defined in SAS® Management Console, new tables based on the existing tables might not have the same attributes
Attributes defined in SAS Management Console on a database management system (DBMS) table might not be present in newly created SAS data sets when the following conditions exist:
- You are accessing a DBMS table via a LIBNAME engine through the META engine
- The query triggers implicit pass-through processing
The attributes that might not appear in the SAS data set are as follows:
To work around this issue, either pre-assign the library rather than using the META engine or add the appropriate column modifiers in the query.
