Usage Note 50635: The SAS® Logon Manager web application does not use custom themes in SAS® 9.4
The SAS Logon Manager web application does not use custom HTML themes in SAS 9.4. To change the look and feel of the SAS Logon Manager web application, you must manually change the CSS file and the images. Here are the steps.
- To make font or color changes, edit the
sas.css
style sheet. This file is in the following location:
<SASHome>\SASWebInfrastructurePlatform\9.4\Static\wars\sas.svcs.logon\themes\default\css\sas.css
- To change the logo or other images, edit or replace the images in the following directory:
<SASHome>\SASWebInfrastructurePlatform\9.4\Static\wars\sas.svcs.logon\themes\default\images
- Rebuild and redeploy the Web Infrastructure Platform 9.4 web application.
- Create a backup of each changed image file and keep a list of the changes made to the style sheet.
Note: The changes that you make can be overwritten by subsequent updates from hot fixes or maintenance releases. After an update, replace the current images with the backups of your modified images. To restore changes to the style sheet, use the list that you made of the changes to edit the current copy of sas.css
. Do not replace the current copy of sas.css
with a backup copy of the modified style sheet. The sas.css
file might have been updated by the hot fix or maintenance release.
