Installation Note 50522: SAS® Enterprise Guide® and SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office stand-alone installers are not supported with an existing version of SAS® 9.4 TS1M0

Note: Using the stand-alone installers with a SAS® 9.3 Foundation deployment does work properly and is supported. The issue described in this SAS Note pertains to SAS 9.4 TS1M0.

Installing SAS Enterprise Guide or SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office using the stand-alone (or independent) installers after the SAS 9.4 TS1M0 version of SAS Foundation has been deployed on the system is an unsupported configuration.


When you attempt this scenario, the SAS® Deployment Wizard "Post Processing" step fails. The IT log displays the error shown below.
