Problem Note 50453: In the z/OS operating environment, submitting the help command several times in a row might cause your SAS® system to abend
When using SAS® 9.4, if you submit the help command from the command line several times in a row, SAS might abend with a system abend 0C1, 0C4, or 0C6.
For example, the abend occurs under the following conditions: You invoke SAS in interactive mode using the SAS CLIST or the REXX EXEC, and you then submit one or more command-line help calls like the following:
help create
help "$w. format"
help ebcdic
help sortpgm
help memlist
In this case, your search request continues searching and when you press Enter from your session, the abend occurs.
A fix for this issue is planned for a future software release.
