Installation Note 50385: "INSTALn" jobs fails during a SAS® 9.4 installation on a z/OS platform

During the installation of SAS 9.3 or 9.4 on a z/OS system, one of the installation jobs might fail with a return code of 12. A message similar to the following appears:

The problem occurs when the default TIME=20 or REGION=96M in the job card is not sufficient for your environment.
In SAS 9.4 TS1M1, this job is an optional job named INSTHELP. NOTE: This job must be submitted using the Installer id.
To circumvent this problem, set TIME=NOLIMIT and REGION=0M on the JOB card for the failing job and resubmit the job.
