When you install the SAS Enterprise Content Categorization server under AIX, two problems prevent the server from starting:

• The backslashes in the descriptor files are backward, which causes the following errors:

  To fix these errors, change the backslashes (\) to forward slashes (/) in the path that appears in the following three files: Note: These files are located in the UNIX directory .../sas_cc_collab_servers_aix64/cc_server/descriptors.

  • Entities.desc
  • IPTC.desc
  • LITIDemo.desc
• The following core-dump error occurs as a result of incorrect size limits for the AIX stack:

  To correct the core-dump error, increase the stack size limits on the AIX server.
