Problem Note 50023: SASĀ® Workspace Server connections do not respond when the process owner does not have access permission to the file specified in a %INCLUDE statement
Connections to a SAS Workspace Server fail to respond when both of the following conditions are true:
- The SAS Workspace Server processes a %INCLUDE statement during initialization.
- The process owner of the SAS Workspace Server does not have access permission to the file that is specified.
When these events occur, the following errors are also written to the SAS Workspace Server log:
ERROR: Insufficient authorization to access /tmp/test.sas.
ERROR: Cannot open %INCLUDE file /tmp/test.sas.
ERROR: %INCLUDE has encountered an I/O/ error. Canceling submitted statements.
