Promotions that fail during batch optimization might incorrectly have a Opt/Eval status of Success in SAS Promotion Optimization. The Opt/Eval status is incorrect because RPP_PLAN.EVAL_OPT_PROCESS_CD is incorrectly set to 100 (Completed) instead of 900 (Completed with system error) when a promotion fails during batch optimization.
In addition, RPP_PLAN.EVAL_OPT_RESULT_DTTM does not accurately reflect the time at which batch optimization completes for a promotion. The date part of RPP_PLAN.EVAL_OPT_RESULT_DTTM is correct, but the time part is always 00:00:00 and does not reflect the actual Opt/Eval completion time.
There is no workaround for this issue.
