Problem Note 49762: Authentication fails if you log on to SAS® Digital Marketing Studio using the option to prompt for the password
When SAS Digital Marketing uses metadata security authentication, you cannot log on to the application using a prompt for the password, even though the password that you enter is correct.
To work around the problem, when you establish a connection to SAS Digital Marketing Studio do not set the user's profile to prompt for a password. Instead, leave this set in the password box.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After you apply the hot fix, add the following entry (using the next appropriate Java argument number) to the studio.ini file on the SAS Digital Marketing server and client machines.
JavaArgs_18=-DSuppressNullPasswordAuthentication=true
