Problem Note 49701: Functional issues addressed in the hot fixes for SAS® Strategy Management 5.4 and SAS® Strategy Management 5.4_M1
Hot fixes for SAS® Strategy Management 5.4 and SAS® Strategy Management 5.4_M1
provide resolutions for the functional issues identified below.
- An approver might not be able to approve a data-entry form if the Repeated
option is used.
- An approver might encounter the following error after clicking the Approve button:
An error occurred in a StM server call to the DataEntryController PUT call.
/dataentryaction/{userId}/{action}/{dataEntryId}
userId: ignored action:
approveall dataEntryId:
bd3bc7bf-0a10-0ec6-0d42-4b659de6ba67
com.sas.solutions.spm.core.exception.SPMException:
java.lang.NullPointerException
- Data-entry forms might not update correctly for some items if you are using Internet Explorer 9 and the Check for new versions of stored pages field in the Temporary Internet File and History Settings dialog box is set to Automatically.
- If you select Project ► Manage Import Options to navigate to the Import page, you might not be able to see the New Content Import Configuration or New Hierarchy Import Configuration choices when the drop-down menu is selected. The problem occurs if right-to-left (RTL) mirroring is in effect and the drop-down menu is aligned to the right.
- Executing the %spmsetpd macro might not update the portlet date per the request.
- On the Gauge View properties page, accepting the default gauge size of Small results in a medium-sized gauge in a SAS Strategy Management portlet.
- Entering an invalid value for the Portlet Height of a SAS Strategy Management Classic portlet (for example, a Performance Table portlet), generates no message to indicate that the entry is invalid.
- The scroll bars are not available on the Manage Form page or the Manage Rules page.
- Numbers are not formatted correctly according to the German locale.
- For column selections, setting the Display option to Text does not show the label correctly for the approver in the Performance Data Entry portlet.
- If there is an invalid entry in a data-entry form and it is then corrected to be a valid entry, a message is generated indicating that the value is still invalid.
- On the Edit Rules Properties page, selecting Cancel when you have not made any changes results in the Save and Close Rule dialog box being displayed. The dialog box states that the current rule has been modified when it has not been modified.
- Advanced parameters entered on the New Link page for File Link types are not honored. For example, entering &PAGE=5 would open the file but would not navigate to page 5 when the link is clicked.
- Deleting an Association table that is currently displayed might result in a java.lang.NullPointerException.
- Metadata enhancements might be missing for the On Demand Refresh Model.
- When you are working in the Diagram Editor, you might not be able to save changes for Element Properties if there are too many attributes. This problem is caused by a missing scroll bar. Because there is no scroll bar, you are not able to scroll to the Save button.
- On a mobile device, gauge tiles might fail and the message No data appears.
- Clicking Print in an Association View tile does not work.
- Clicking Print in a Table View tile results in three extra pages being printed and might result in columns that are narrow and difficult to read.
- Time dimensions might not migrate correctly from a previous release.
- In a SAS Strategy Management portlet, you might have problems viewing a Table View tile after you select the project in the Scorecard Hierarchy tile.
- Performance problems that are associated with the Association View tile occur.
- After you select the Trend Chart in a SAS Strategy Management portlet, the message The trend chart is empty occurs.
- SAS Strategy Management migration fails to migrate diagram images.
- When you attempt to add a new scorecard, the message An error has occurred in the system and the administrator of the application has been notified occurs.
- Performance might be slow when you delete medium or large projects.
- IMap reports might not be displayed after a migration.
- Users without SAS Strategy Management access can access the Builder from the SAS® portal.
- When you are working with data-entry forms in the SAS portal, the message There was an error performing an action on the server. Please
contact the system administrator occurs.
- Table View tiles in a SAS Strategy Management portlet might display a scroll bar instead of a non-metric attribute name.
