Problem Note 49554: Errors might be issued when saving or opening a file in the ODS Graphics Designer or ODS Graphics Editor

One of the following error messages might be issued when trying to open or save a file from the ODS Graphics Designer or ODS Graphics Editor:

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sun.java.swing.SwingUtilities2
Or:
java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.sas.graphics.sgdesigner.DesignerFileChooser.su2_loc2IndexFileList(DesignerFileChooser.java:693)
at com.sas.graphics.sgdesigner.DesignerFileChooser.access$200(DesignerFileChooser.java:75)
at com.sas.graphics.sgdesigner.DesignerFileChooser$Handler.mouseClicked(DesignerFileChooser.java:718)
By default, the Save As dialog box incorrectly assigns 'HTML' as the default filter. The graph is saved and opened correctly if the correct 'SGD' filter is selected, even though the error messages are issued.
This problem is most likely to occur if Java 1.7 is the active version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE).
