Problem Note 49537: Minimum SKU-Store quantity might be violated and a "Pack Optimization has violated a constraint ..." warning is displayed
In SAS® Pack Optimization, the pack request setting "Minimum SKU-Store quantity" might be violated.
This issue occurs when needs for a SKU are small, and the size profile contains sizes with 0% contribution.
The following WARNING appears in the stored-process server log:
WARNING: Pack Optimization has violated a constraint. Output includes 0 of sku <ID> at store <ID> when the SKU-Store ORDER_MIN was 1.
There are two possible workarounds for this issue:
-
Set the under-penalty cost (request setting "Mismatch penalty if Store is under") for a delivery to a higher value.
-
Set the global setting REC_PACKS_CONTAIN_ALL_SKUS to one, such that all recommended packs contain all requested SKUs.
A fix for this issue is planned for a future release.
