Problem Note 49414: A message about attempting to load unallowed versions of JAR files might appear when you start the SAS® IT Resource Management 3.3 client

When you attempt to start the SAS IT Resource Management 3.3 client, the following message might appear:

If you select Details, the following information is displayed:

If you click OK, the SAS IT Resource Management client starts without any problems.

To prevent these messages from recurring, follow these steps:

  1. Make a backup copy of the sasitrm.ini file that is found in the SAS IT Resource Management client. The file is stored in a location similar to the following:
    C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASITResourceManagementClient\3.3\sasitrm.ini
  2. Add the following Java property to any one of the Java_Args lines, and include a space as a separator between properties:
    -DhidePluginVersionMessage=true
