Problem Note 49228: Unexpected errors might occur when you are running the SASĀ® Embedded Process
Unexpected errors might occur when you run the SAS Embedded Process. The SAS Embedded Process leaks open file descriptors, so that process or other processes on the system eventually encounter unexpected errors. For example, you might see a DS2 execution error (Teradata error code 9134) with a diagnostic message FLOP at index 1 not initialized.
To work around this issue, stop the SAS Embedded Process and let the database system start a new SAS Embedded Process when it is needed. You can stop the SAS Embedded Process by using a DBCEXTENSION.ServerControl stored procedure or by restarting the Teradata server.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
Note: A corresponding fix in Teradata is required and is included in the Teradata database 13.10.04.03 and later.
