Problem Note 49098: Sales forecast units might be incorrect for a product-location when the product is in multiple promotions
The sales forecast units might be incorrect for a product-location in the Sales Forecast Export. This issue occurs when the following is true in SAS® Promotion Optimization:
- The product exists in two approved promotions with dates that intersect.
- The location scope of the two promotions do not intersect.
- Both promotions have forecast overrides. However, the forecast overrides are different in each promotion.
The sales forecast units are incorrect because the forecast override for a location is not properly honored when calculating the sales forecast units for a product-location.
There are no errors or warnings.
There is no workaround for this issue.
