The values that are contained in a shared parameter prompt might be displayed incorrectly or might be missing. These problems occur when you modify the shared prompt in SAS^® Management Console with a locale setting enabled that is different from the locale that was active when the prompt was created.

If you encounter this problem, you must re-create the prompt and edit it using the same locale setting that will be used to display the prompt in the client application(s). In general, changing locale settings for SAS Management Console is not recommended if objects that are stored in the SAS^® Metadata Repository using a different locale are to be modified during the SAS Management Console session.
