Problem Note 49637: SAS® Enterprise Guide® might randomly lose its workspace server connection

Note: This problem occurs only with SAS Enterprise Guide 5.1.

When long-running queries are issued in SAS Enterprise Guide 5.1, your workspace connection might be dropped, losing your temporary working files. When this issue occurs, the following line appears in the SAS Enterprise Guide log:

[Main] ERROR SAS.EC.Directory.Model.Server [(null)] - IsWorkspaceAlive() - Timeout testing workspace
