Problem Note 49541: Special characters in SAS® internal account passwords cause a configuration failure
When you create passwords that contain special characters created for the sasadm@saspw or sastrust@saspw IDs, the following error might appear in the SAS® Deployment Wizard:
Error configuring addLoginModule :
application-policy=webinfpltfm-encryptDBPassword
login-module=org.jboss.resource.security.SecureIdentityLoginModule
This failure might occur when you include any of the following characters in the password:
- underscore (_)
- comma (,)
- asterisk (*)
- plus sign (+)
For example, consider the following password:
O_r,i*o*n+123
This password contains the characters listed above, so it will cause the error.
To work around this issue, remove the special characters from the password.
